Who we work with

Built around how people in Pakistan actually earn

Most tax advice assumes a salary and a single employer. If you invoice overseas clients, run your own business, or have never filed at all, that advice does not fit.

Freelancers & remote workers

Paid by overseas clients through Payoneer, Wise or direct remittance. We handle export-of-services treatment and get your remittances declared correctly.

Salaried individuals

Your employer deducts tax at source, but you still need to file to stay on the Active Taxpayer List and avoid higher withholding rates.

Small businesses & sole proprietors

Registration, income tax, sales tax and withholding statements — the full compliance calendar handled in one place.

First-time filers

Never filed before and not sure where to start? Registration through to your first filed return, explained in plain language.

How it works

Four steps, and we do most of them

You send documents once. We handle the portal, the forms and the deadline.

  1. 01

    Get in touch

Message us on WhatsApp or send the contact form. Tell us your situation — freelancer, salaried, business — and whether you have filed before.

  2. 02

    Send your documents

We send you a short checklist. Usually it's your CNIC, bank statements, and remittance advices — nothing you don't already have.

  3. 03

    We prepare, you review

We prepare your return and send you a draft summary to check. Nothing is submitted to the FBR until you have seen it and approved it.

  4. 04

    Filed and confirmed

Once you approve, we file with the FBR and send you the acknowledgement plus your ATL status confirmation.

Do freelancers in Pakistan actually have to file a tax return?

Yes. If your annual income exceeds the taxable threshold you are required to file, and foreign-source income is not automatically exempt — it must be declared and treated correctly. Filing also puts you on the Active Taxpayer List, which lowers the withholding tax deducted on your banking and other transactions.

What is the Active Taxpayer List and why does it matter?

The ATL is the FBR's published list of people who filed their return for the relevant year. If you are not on it, banks and other withholding agents deduct tax from you at roughly double the standard rate. For most freelancers the higher deductions cost more over a year than the filing fee.

What documents do you need from me?

For most freelancers: CNIC, bank statements for the tax year, remittance advices or Proceeds Realisation Certificates for foreign income, and details of any assets acquired or disposed of during the year. We send you a checklist tailored to your situation before we start.

How long does filing take?

Once we have your complete documents, a straightforward freelancer return is normally prepared within a few working days. We give you an expected date when you send your documents. Filing season is busiest in August and September — send documents early.

What is the deadline for filing?

For individuals, the statutory deadline is normally 30 September following the end of the tax year on 30 June, though the FBR sometimes extends it. We aim to file every client's return well before the deadline rather than relying on an extension.

I'm registered with the FBR but I don't have my IRIS login details. Can you still help?

Yes — this is one of the most common situations we deal with. Plenty of people were registered years ago by an agent, an employer or a bank and never received the credentials, or lost them long ago. You do not need to register again; the account already exists and can be recovered. Send us a message and we will take it from there.

I've forgotten my IRIS password. What do you need to recover it?

Three things: your CNIC, a mobile number registered against that CNIC, and a working email address you can access. The FBR sends verification codes to the registered mobile and email, so the mobile must be in your own name — a number registered to a family member will not work. Once we have those we can reset the account, get you back into IRIS and proceed with your filing.

Will you need my FBR IRIS password?

Yes — filing is done through your IRIS account, so we need access. We treat your credentials as confidential and only use them for the work you have engaged us for. You can change your password at any time after filing.

What happens if I get an FBR notice after filing?

Contact us straight away — notices carry short statutory deadlines. For returns we filed, we help you interpret the notice and prepare the response. Full audit representation is quoted separately depending on the scope.

Can you file returns for previous years I missed?

In many cases yes, though late returns can attract penalties and you may not be added to the ATL for those years. Send us your details and we will tell you what is possible and what it will cost before you commit.
